3,500

By the year 3,500 mandkind's ideation of expansion had fizzled in the face of an imagined threat.  The "rogue" species of human did not yet exist but only in the nightmares of man.  He imagined a time when every moon across the System had been colonized and evolutionary human varieties held little or no loyalty to the Earth.  These human lines would need to be policed and tracked.  Earthkind would certainly pay the price for expanding too quickly.  In the face of human rights concerns, the collective scaled back it's colonization of non-Earth terrains, specifically the moons that orbited planets.

The Universe of human thought and human fears could now be simplified into a world of two factions, the Earth-kind and Mars-kind.   A collective sigh of relief could be felt across the Sun System.  It cannot be forgotten that the primary lineage of humans with lesser gravity adaptation could be traced back to Quet lineage.  These were a people who'm were subject to vast amounts of propaganda in order to easily be controlled, their voices managed.  They supposed that their purpose of greatest nobility was to mate with Earth-kind and thus spread their unique lunar traits of calculative analytical ability.  For centuries past, the offspring of this deliberate breeding were decided by councils to live on either the Earth or the Earth-Moon.  The result was massive die offs.  In most cases, offspring were not suited for either terrains and suffered from various disease.

However in 3,500 many of Quet lineage were given recruitment opportunity to companies who sought the benefits of workers and crews that could survive better in lesser gravity environments.  The Mars Federation was still a brand in the eyes of the Earth peoples.  It was not viewed as a governing body or the "Nation of Mars" but by only the idealists of Mars.  Still day to day life on Mars was rough and the average people did not concern themselves politically with what their minds could not perceive as abuse.  Their origins of propaganda could not yet be reckoned with.

As a result of increased recruitment into the Mars Federatiion, individuals of Quet lineage began to stack up on Mars.  With Mars being half the size of the Earth, it could easily be justified as the natural homeland of the Quet lines.

In 3,572 a group of scientist funded by the Human Advancement Network had succeeded in creating the first membrane dome.  Prior to this achievement, bio domes had to be built from the ground up and glassturized along support tracks and scaffolds.  The membrane was differentiated in the fact that a thin film could be gradually inflated along a sampling curve.  The membrane could, in essence, grow itself, moving particles into their proper positions as need be.  While it would be hundreds of years before this technology could mature.  It ignited the imagination of the people of Earth as well as the Mars citizen.  From here they could dream about grand cities of the future.  Bio domes could and would be larger.  One day perhaps the mountains of Cydonia could be dwarfed by the domes of the future.

3,400

The Mars Federation was a shell company, a relic of the "old Mars."  In the 3390's the collective was favoring nearly any and all Mars projects.  SBG, the Stable Belt Group was the prime contractor in charge of security between smaller port system delivery contractors and the entire asteroid belt.  While largely viewed as a policing agent, it could not be argued that SBG had a rich history of successfully identifying Earth bound asteroids.  With deep system traffic increasing exponentially , the displacement of belt rock or rogue asteroids had tripled.  SBG was held in high regard by the citizen of Earth.  They had successfully marketed themselves as a shield of protection against displaced asteroids.  However, along the port systems, SBG was unpopular.  They were blamed for both wasting resources along with frequent abuse of  powers.  Despite the press, SBG was poised to capitalize heavily on the New Mars Agenda.

Manny Jeznk was the rightfull owner of the company known as the Mars Federation and was considered a man of well connections.  His wife's father was a wealthy partner in AOS, the heavy weight in artificial orbits, notably of Quet lineage.  If Manny could secure the funding, the Mars Federation could oppose the seemingly obvious prime contractor, SBG, for delivering materials and resources to Mars.

In 3420, SBG began a legal battle against the MF (Mars Federation).  It sited that MF had manufactured its financial history and therefore was illegally securing veins of bids from the collective.

Masdar CityDespite the legal battle, both companies had simply asserted themselves as the prime.  The result was a migration of citizens to various Mars cities in a very short time span.   It was to be known as The Great Migration.  Both SBG and the MF had measured their success based upon units for human ready delivery.  If SBG manufactured 1,000 livable units, MF would attempt to do the same, thereby indirectly reducing the quality of the unit itself.  The situation was growing unstable.  By 3450, SBG had shifted its response to a kind of Marketing that presented itself in a better light.  It spoke directly to the Mars citizen while simultaneously slinging mud at the MF.

Manny's response to SBG was, it seemed, in line with the original founders of the MF.  He would categorize the Federation as a governing body.  The citizen of the Federation had a voice and therefore, the citizenry was, in fact, the Federation itself.  It is easy now to look back and see a kind of destiny in action.  One might assume that it was written in the stars.  How could the MF not exist?  Was the creation of a false financial history an example of doing the wrong thing for the right reason.  How would SBG maintain control of the new life blood, the flow of money to Mars.  The Federation became a kind of state.  Martian issues were Federation issues.  The patriots of Mars had been born.

3,300

In 3,300 a little known scientist named Gus Lewin produced concrete evidence, through a genetic tracking sequence, that linked advanced mathematical capabilities to diverse orbital patterns.  Essentially, it bridged the understanding of why individuals on the moon had developed such strengths so quickly.

While, evolutionary changes could be tied to the number of generations a people had spent on a conflicting terrain, it was never clear why moon peoples had developed changes in an intellectual capacity. Lesser gravity contributed to a flexibility for non-vertical traits, such as a leaning forward of the neck and a new stride, but orbital patterns had also played an effect.  Now we had a glimpse into a new and likely prospect.  The question begged, would future generations on other moon terrains develop similar strengths and deficits?  What kind of people might begin to develop on Jupiter's moons.  Alas, despite passive progression, the implications of such quick changes and the possibility of a rogue moon species coming from any of multiple sources within the Sun System, was to put a new kind of restraint on freedoms of expansion.  In 3,360 legislation was finally passed that allowed systematic heritage tracking on all moon terrains.  Policing within the Sun System was increasing.  Selective "controls" now placed institutions that historically only monitored traffic along port systems, in a new position of authority.  They would now  extract DNA from any number of moons.

By the 3,390's a cultural paradigm shift had occurred.  In an effort to secure ones personal rights, living on any moon terrain had become unfavorable.  Mars was considered the primary new frontier.

3,200

By the year 3,200 the love affair between Earth people and the Moon people had become the news of the day...

It was a forecast of things to come.  The campaign to absorb desirable Lunar genetic traits was an ideology that did not come without conflict.  Human rights issues were at the most forefront.  The terrain of offspring was determined via genetic profiling, one that sought to place a child in the most healthy physical environment. Unfortunately the offspring did not necessarily thrive in either terrain.  This was a disturbing truth.  Sill, the alternative was to allow the possibility of kinds of humans that may eventually become adversarial to the majority of Earth inhabitants.  In the 3,200's governing forces of Earth constituted the majority, but those people could imagine now a future where that might not be the case.

Mars people had experienced many forms of disease relating to that which seemed to plague the early colonies of the moon.  There were gravitational adaptation ailments that effected the body while orbital rhythms indeed took it's toll on the mind.  Like wise on the moon, peoples of Mars had begun to evolve as well... And these people were watching the affairs of the Earth and Lunar peoples with a keen eye.

The propaganda delivered to the Lunar was deliberately harsh.  This deliberate naivety arguably denied people of the moon a true glimpse of who they were and where they had come from.  They were praised for a thing that overshadowed the other.  This thing was their math capability.  On the flip side of the coin was the sad fact that they were indeed an experiment of the Earth and therefore owned by the people of Earth.  They were subjected to the will of another more powerful force, the collective majority.

While control of this Lunar propaganda was of great quality, the multiple veins of Mars traffic was not controlled.  As a result, the people of Mars were privy to the possibility of similar propaganda to be used on them.  There were outspoken groups on Mars namely the H.A.N (Human Advancement Network) who threatened to deliver a counter "Truth" to the Lunar kind.  The response from the Earth majority was little if none.  Passive progression was a force of stability.  It was a way of careful measure, a steadfast movement that could not easily be disrupted by movements or voices of revolution.  The powers of the people of Mars, even by the late 3,290's were impotent to the collective.  Despite all efforts to counter cross planetary breeding ideology, the passive progression agenda had adopted this as being a necessity for the survival of mankind; that no price to pay was too high.

3,100

The scientific order was a series of laws based upon direct scientific evidence or mainstream theory.  Of important relevance was the legislation of "conscious selection" In the 3,100's genetic laboratory manipulation was prohibited.  It was accepted that such eugenics would result in the loss of unknown traits; traits that one day may be a strength instead of a weakness; that certain diseases could essentially be a hidden strength.  Therefore it was agreed that populations should reproduce with the simplicity of responsible awareness.  The situation between people of the Earth and a line of people that had been Lunar for hundreds of years was becoming a primary discussion within the order.  Human beings could scientifically identify why peoples of lesser gravity may develop longer forward leaning necks, but why the corresponding leap in mathematic capabilities was still unknown.  It was said that individuals of Quet decent could "feel math".
To understand the people of the moon was to take on the perspective of one who's home is the moon.  In 3,130 Guabe Shnables, having strong Lunar traits vowed he would thrive on the Earth despite his adaptations to moon gravity.  Sadly, Guabe struggled a painful existence for three months, his body unable to hold the weight of his own productions.  He collapsed repeatedly before seizing, and finally died in public.

To subscribe to the idea that the mathematical brain was advanced by absolute certainty was to ignore the probability of deficits.  Global thinking was an apparent weakness in the new race.  Art and creativity were noticeably less expressive and likewise certain thrill seeking behaviors were limited.  Additionally they were viewed by modern Earthlings as being socially inept.  As a consequence, it became popular for the Earth man to creatively dominate and mate with a female of Lunar decent.  In the womb, it could be determined whether the child was destined for Earth or to remain on Moon.  If the child was to be Earth bound, the mother was honored through propaganda.  This method, through the coming decades would be an effective way for Earthkind to build a higher population of youth while attempting to absorb many of the popular traits of the Lunarkind.  The ideology of cross planetary breeding was in effect.

3,000

Earth scape, in the new millennium was commonly summarized as "Pillars and Preservations"  The pillars were the buildings of new, buildings that stretched for miles upon miles into the atmosphere.  The preservations were categorized as both natural places and also the cities of old.  These cities were kept in pristine conditions and intentionally locked into different centuries.  The Earth and it's historical markers were held with such reverence that motions to build or change anything was an undertaking pushed by only those who held nearly lifelong commitments.

The democracy of the collective Earth inhabitants was in a state of fixed agreement; one where most progressional ideologies were simply benched by the majority.  Words like capitalism or communism were historically significant but did not ring true as anything more than buzzwords of a prior millennium.  We had turned the Earth into a kind of museum where the exhibits simply did not change.

In the prior 2,800's, the much more progressive agenda's had been pushed to the degree where by 3,000 Earth residents were privy to "All things recorded" a phrase that had become both a rule of thumb and a way of life.  In attempt to preserve the world, all things and events on the Earth were recorded by redundant measures and stored upon orbiting drives.  In fact, near Earth drives were redundantly backed up by drives in other orbits.  "All things recorded" simply meant that one should behave in full knowledge that their activities were saved for posterity.

In a world where all things are recorded, privacy was a luxury only to be found in the great Sun System.  The simple desire for privacy had become a catalyst for additional out bound Sun System traffic.  This was a constant.  Still the core collective of democracy was the elite Earther, generations who'd been conservative in their needs for non-terra activity.  Within that mainstream was a silent rejection of non-terra gene pools.  Most notably the Lunar Quet line of human.  While considered human, the Quet lines or Quet gene anomaly, tended to have more visual differences than Earth inhabitants.  No where else during these times, were individuals seen to appear so alien.  The irony of it was that the Quet human lived on the moon, a terrain so close to the Earth.

While the Earth had a scarcity of a youth population and an active breeding was put at the fore front of the collective, there were certain lines among the Quet that simply would not breed with those without Quet genes.  The reaction among some Earth folk was that of a chuckle.  Most Earthlings thought the Quet type odd in appearance, namely a dwarfing torso region.  However many thought the longer neck to be aesthetically pleasing.  The result was a cultural ideal of the long vertical necks being a trait worthy of passing along, while a shorter torso should gradually be denied.

It is important to not that many Quet considered themselves an advancement in human design.  It was observed the Quet would lift their brows in the presence of other Quet if there were Earthmen in the room.  When made public, Earthlings were compelled to speak poorly about them, refering to them as subhuman.  Still, along with the visual difference in lunar generations, the position that Quet were inferior, was indefensible.  They had a calculative ability that put them in high positions of data processing and productions.  Now the question arose, would the Quet buy into cross planetary breeding or was their a kind of Quet pride; an unwillingness be be absorbed by what they seemed to consider the inferior human beings.

2900-3000

The great war of the Sun system did not occur.  The philosophies that polarized the politics were muted and downplayed as the phony conflict.  One had reached out to the other.  Youth of the day enjoyed the ideas of spin system supports as well as the gradual changes in the human definition.  There was a steadfast agreement that parameters could be regulated in a manner without panic and thus hostilities were not actually on the radar.  Hardliners had fragmented into softer hardline denominations and no longer represented a potent force within the mass collective.

With the approaching new millennium, the prior excitement was now overshadowed with a kind of passive progression.  Ideas of seeding to other stars was no longer of mainstream discussion.  This was to be an era of re-appreciation, a time of examining our own Sun System yet again, and excepting that we had only scratched the surface.

By the 2930's mandates on human parameters had transitioned into a passive cultural awareness, a kind of de-legislation.  It was accepted that changes should and would occur as a result of adaptation and the guiding principals could be left cultural; that legislation was an artificial source of comfort.  The processes of evolution was slow enough that it could be managed by the same processes that occurred on the Earth, now widely knows as conscious selection.

The idea of cross planetary breeding was now considered a must.  With human evolutionary changes occurring on the Moon and Mars, it was of mainstream acceptance that human beings should consider individuals from all terrains as potential mates.  For an Earthling to mate with a Lunar Human and have offspring was considered a beautiful thing.  The offspring would add variety to the Sun System mankind, an way of preparing to adapt entirely to a way of life where perhaps the abandonment of the home planet was possible.

By the year three thousand, human beings had only begun to settle and populate colonies on new frontiers. On principle alone, we called home the many moons of Jupiter and Saturn.  The prospect of deep Sun System colonization could be now be achieved.  Yet human beings were in a state of passive progression, feeling overwhelming assured that time was in-fact on our side; finally accepting that this was merely the beginning.
